The global server was taken down sometime ago, shame but you can still connect following the instructions below
- Create a Freelancer shortcut, call it freelancer uk server or something.
- Right click on shortcut and open properties.
- Copy exactly the following line (unless you didnt do a default install)"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -skokrull.com:2302
- Paste into the target field and ok it.
- Double click on shortcut.
- Go to multiplayer and either lan or internet.
- Click on ** ukserver **
- Enjoy.
edit 12th august 2011For some reason I never got my mails from no-ip regarding updates this month, just the mail telling me they have been deleted from there database, fortunately thanks to me and Leo being on the ball, the kokrull.com:2302 addy was already set up when we changed to the new setup ,as usual, non of this effected the actual game server
